Biking in Lofoten
Tip:
Lofoten has a number of cycle paths and cycle lanes. There is also a less busy road south of my route within Valberg, if you want less traffic.
At the same time, there is a lot of traffic on the roads in the summer. I recommend going outside the high season. I was there in June, and it was ok then.
Most of the tunnels have sidewalks you can cycle on. Some of these are narrow, where it may be just as easy to walk through. Remember to have lights on your bike, even with the midnight sun.
Lofoten has its own rules for camping due to nature conservation. Respect this so that we take care of this beautiful place. There are special campsites that are nice to use and often have toilets.
